Executive Director (Group CEO Hobark /Drillpet Group ) Obioha Okoroafor has over 20 years industry experience and is the Founder and Group Managing Director of the HOBARK Group, adjudged one of the fastest growing indigenous oil and gas service group in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to setting up his companies, he worked for over 10 yrs with Schlumberger International.

He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, PETAN, and Port Harcourt and Lagos Chambers of Commerce.

The Hobark group consists of several companies; DrillPet International Limited, Uniterm Nigeria Limited, UltiProc Nigeria Limited, Hobark International (UK) Limited and Hobark International Inc.


Bank-Anthony Okoroafor
Executive Director (CB Geo, Vhelbherg, Schlumberger)
Mr Bank-Anthony Okoroafor holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and MBA from Surrey, UK; and has 27 years of international and domestic Oil & Gas (O&G) experience.

Currently the MD of an Oilfield Services Company (Vhelbherg) and CEO of CB Geophysical Solutions Ltd, Bank-Anthony worked for 15yrs prior, with Schlumberger International.

He is also the Vice Chairman of PETAN (Petroleum Technology Assoc. of Nigeria), an umbrella body for all oil services companies in Nigeria.

Horace AwiHorace Awi
Executive Director (GM Drilling Addax, Ex-Asset Mgr Addax)
Mr. Awi has over 24years of industry experience. He holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan, PGD in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool.

His career spans the oil industry from the upstream to the downstream. He is currently the General Manager, Drilling, Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited.

He has attended several industry courses over the years including an executive MBA course at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr Awi is a member of Nigeria Society of Engineers, Member Nigerian Institute of Management and Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers

Bright OghorMr Bright Oghor
Executive Director (Director, HSSE and Community, SEPLAT )
Mr. Bryte Oghenovo Oghor has about thirty years cognate experience spanning the Downstream and Upstream sectors of the Oil and Gas industry. He served in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemicals from 1983 to 1989, from where he moved on to Ashland Oil (Nigeria) Company Unlimited (later acquired by Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited) as Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator. He rose to the position of General Manager, Health, Safety and Environment. He is presently the Director, Health, Safety and Environment at Seplat Petroleum Exploration and Production Company.

Bryte is a highly resourceful professional; he has served in various capacities and levels in the Oil Gas industry in Nigeria, as Secretary, OPTS Environment and Safety subcommittee, Chairman, DPR Search and Rescue Committee, and Member, Board of Directors, Clean Nigeria Associate (CNA). He is a Fellow, of the Nigeria Environmental Society, (NES) and member of several key professional organizations which include: Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Mr Oghor holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Benin, Benin City and an M.Sc. (Tech.) – Petrochemicals and Hydrocarbon Chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, U.K.

Robert AdamMr Robert Adam
Technical Director (Ex-Global Drilling Manager, SASOL International PTY, South Africa)
Mr Robert Adams is a Senior E&P Manager with over 23 years industry experience in North America, North Sea, South/West/East Africa and Middle East sectors, offering a well site to corporate in-depth knowledge of drilling, completion and production technologies and processes, combined with a background in subsurface disciplines. He has worked for various companies including Addax Petroleum Corporation, Afren Resources USA, and Sasol Petroleum International, South Africa.

He is experienced in building and managing multi-functional teams, in corporate, asset and project environments. Varied new venture assessment skills and joint venture exposure.

Robert holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Geology & Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Glamorgan. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
